The Health Records Officer will be responsible for managing patient medical records, ensuring accurate documentation, retrieval, and confidentiality of patient information, and supporting smooth clinical operations.
Register new patients and update existing patient records.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records in both electronic and physical formats.
Retrieve and file patient records for medical staff when needed.
Ensure confidentiality and security of all patient information.
Assist in preparing reports and statistics on patient data.
Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and administrative staff for efficient service delivery.
OND/HND in Health Information Management, Medical Records, or related field.
Must have good organizational and record-keeping skills.
Knowledge of electronic medical records systems is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
Previous experience in a hospital/medical setting is an added advantage.
