Part Time Igbo Language Tutor via Zoom Classes at Learn Igbo By Conversation LIBC

Job Description

We’re looking for a fluent Igbo speaker based in Nigeria to join our team as a part-time online tutor. You will teach Igbo language to learners across the globe via Zoom using our structured conversational teaching method.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, spoken Igbo lessons via Zoom every Saturday evening (5:00 PM – 9:00 PM)
  • Occasionally cover weekday evening classes if other tutors are unavailable
  • Help learners improve their speaking and listening skills in Igbo
  • Follow our in-house method for teaching conversational Igbo
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with students and the LIBC team

 

  • Every Saturday: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Required)
  • Occasionally cover weekday evening classes if other tutors are unavailable

Education + Experience

    • Must currently live in Nigeria
    • Minimum grade of A1 in Igbo Language (SSCE WAEC) – this is compulsory
    • Fluent in both spoken and written Igbo and English
    • Prior experience using Zoom (essential)
    • Access to a reliable, high-speed internet connection (non-negotiable)
    • Passionate about promoting the Igbo language
    • No teaching degree required – enthusiasm and commitment to learners are what matter most
