Join our multidisciplinary team as a Medical Officer, providing comprehensive primary and acute care to in-patients and out-patients.
You will work closely with consultants and allied health professionals to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Conduct medical assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
Manage acute and chronic cases in the general ward and outpatient clinics.
Perform routine procedures (e.g., lumbar puncture, joint aspiration).
Prescribe and monitor medications in line with hospital protocols.
Document clinical findings electronically and physically and maintain accurate patient records.
Collaborate in mortality/morbidity reviews and quality-improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Examinations:
Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Successful completion of 12 - month internship (housemanship) in an approved centre, with all F-Forms, E-Form(4) and B-Form(1) duly signed.
Full registration and practicing licence from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN)—application for full registration typically takes up to 4 weeks post-internship
Required Certification & Licensing:
MDCN practising licence (renewable annually).
Certificate of Good Standing (LOGS) if trained abroad, with EPIC verification where applicable
Experience:
Minimum 1 year post-internship experience in a hospital setting (preferred).
Demonstrated proficiency in emergency response and patient triage
